Please mark this date in your diaries - it will be a concert to remember! Yasmin is an extraordinary pianist whose first CD won Editor's Choice in the BBC Music Magazine when she was living in the UK.  Her program is a very special one with some of the most well known works of the solo piano repertoire including Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata, Debussy's 'Pour le Piano' and Busoni's arrangement of Bach's great Chaconne for solo violin. This piece is on the favourites list of most violinists and Busoni's interpretation and arrangement of the work is spectacular. Yasmin will also present some perhaps less well known but equally marvellous pieces including a romance by Clara Schumann and a very moving set of variations by Arvo Part. We are so very fortunate to hear a performance of such quality in the intimate space St Stephen's offers and I hope you can join us.
