Contemplation and Worship

Sunday morning, 10am

A sung Eucharist accompanied by our beautiful pipe organ is held each Sunday at 10am and on feast days of the Christian liturgical year. We enjoy catholic Anglican prayer book worship, traditional and contemporary hymns, silence, spaciousness and Biblical, liturgical preaching. Followed by morning tea.

Sunday evening, 5pm

Our service of Contemplation includes silence, prayer, Scripture reading, music and singing, and is a place to:

  • breathe deeply and share silent meditation with others

  • hold space for your thoughts and feelings, without judgement

  • reflect on your week, the world and the things that weigh on you

  • engage in prayer (whatever that means to you)

Followed by refreshments.

Wednesday morning, 10.30am

A simple, said Eucharist incorporating an opportunity for all to expound the Scripture readings together in conversation. Followed by morning tea and Get Out for Good.

Wednesday evening, 6pm

The Deep Spring Meditation Community meets on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. We include guided mindfulness meditation, short readings from Scripture and the contemplative tradition, as well as a period of silence in which to tap into a deep spring of love, joy, peace and compassion at the core of our being. Jesus called it 'living water' with which we will never thirst. All are welcome and no experience is necessary. Followed by refreshments.

Tuesday and Thursday morning, 9am

Meditation is held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9am. This includes a short reading from the Christian contemplative tradition, some pre-recorded music, and 15-20 minutes of silence.

All are welcome to join us, whether you’re a regular church-goer, drop in occasionally, practise a different faith, or have no faith background.
