About the event

Introduction to Christian Meditation

This six-part series provides a brief introduction to ancient practice of meditation in the Christian tradition.

Each week includes about 10 minutes of reading, and 10-15 audio presentation, which can be listened to at home. After the regular Thursday morning meditation, we will talk about the previous week’s written/audio material and any thoughts/questions which are emerging out of our own practice.

The material is from the World Community for Christian Meditation (www.wccm.org) and is informed by the teaching of Br John Main and Br Laurence Freeman (Benedictine monks), as well as Australian, Rev’d Dr Sarah Bachelard, who is leads Benedictus Community Church in Canberra.

If you can’t come every week, just come for as much as you can.
